Tekla launches its kids collection with a range of unisex sleepwear and bathrobes, all woven from 100% organic, Oeko-Tex certified cotton fibres, meaning that they are free of any harmful chemicals. The collection launched alongside an endearing campaign shoot, photographed by Danish photographer Philip Messmann.

Japanese artist Ryoji Ikeda launches his immersive audiovisual experience at the 180 Studios this summer, presented by The Vinyl Factory, Fact, and Audemars Piguet Contemporary. The space, which has been specifically modified for the show, invites visitors on a sensory journey to explore twelve of Ikeda’s multimedia works, six of which have never been shown before.

As part of its pledge to support young talent across the creative industries, Burberry partners with digital music platform ColorsxStudios to showcase six emerging musical talents across a variety of genres. Released in a series of installments, each show previews unreleased music and is accompanied by exclusive interviews with the artists. For the series, each musician will be wearing Burberry’s Spring Summer 2021 collection, dressed by Ricardo Tisci.

Catering to art collectors and music aficionados alike, “Pressing Matters” sees a number of leading contemporary artists presenting pieces made from rare test pressings and vinyl, donated by some of the biggest names in the music industry. The exhibition, which has been produced by Helium London in collaboration with MATCHESFASHION, will also feature an auction, with all of the proceeds raised going to the grassroots charity Music Support.

The Southbank Centre presents a live-streamed screening of Dami Adeyeye’s documentary, A Dark Mind, about the stigmatisation of mental health issues in the black community. The screening will be followed by a conversation between Adeyeye and Natalie Creary from the Lambeth-based mental health charity Black Thrive. Before finally, mental health practitioner Hari Sewell and the film’s score composer Cephas Azariah will lead attendees in a short meditative session.

Chanel has unveiled the launch of Virginie Viard’s 2021/22 Cruise Collection with a highly referential runway film, directed by Inez and Vinoodh. Shot amongst the limestone walls of the Carrières de Lumières – the site of Jean Cocteau’s 1960 art house film, Testament of Orpheus – the collection combines a striking two-tone palette of black and white with a melange of punk, rock and sixties styles.

For the first time in its history, the Academy of American Poets’ annual gala fundraiser, Poetry and the Creative Mind, will be held virtually, and broadcast free of charge for one night only. The event will be chaired by the great Meryl Streep, and will feature readings of favourite poems selected by a star-studded lineup of figures from across the arts.
